Archway is re-certified for ISO 9001:2000 and their dedicated automotive facility is added to the list of certified sites.

DETROIT, MI – November 27, 2006 – Archway Marketing Services’ Detroit facility, located in Romulus announced the re-certification of its Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2000 standards by SGS U.S. Testing Company (SGS) a registrar headquartered in Rutherford, NJ.

Archway has been ISO certified since 1997. To maintain certification the company must pass an in-depth quality assessment conducted by the SGS assessment team.

According to Steve Weltzin, Director of Operations, the re-certification process involved an in-depth assessment of Archway's entire Quality Management System by the SGS team of assessors to ensure the company's performance meets the requirements, and that its processes are responsive to customer needs and deliver continual improvement.

Mr. Weltzin said, "Achieving approval from SGS is a function of maintaining a high level of focus on internal processes, focusing on current and future needs of our clients, and making sure every employee is involved in our quality process. I believe that all of our customers benefit from this process."

Two auditors conducted the assessment and were at the company for four days. Their final assessment outcome states: "Archway’s Quality Management System continues to be effectively implemented and maintained. The management review process demonstrated the capability to ensure the continuing effectiveness of the management system."

Mr. Weltzin added, “This re-certification audit also added our new dedicated automotive facility on Haggerty Road to the list of certified Archway sites. This facility serves the leading automotive manufacturers.”

The SGS auditors noted that “Personnel from every level of the company who were interviewed at the Haggerty Road facility were aware of quality objectives, process and company performance, customer requirements and customer satisfaction. The level of awareness and motivation to improve processes indicate highly effective internal communication processes.”
