October 24, 2006 – Archway Marketing Services (Archway) opened the doors to their newest distribution facility located in Aberdeen, a suburb of Baltimore, MD. The brand new facility is 140,000 square feet with 36 foot ceilings and is designed to meet the PDMA, FDA and ISO guidelines and other compliance requirements for the healthcare and financial services industry. Archway is actively engaged with five of the top 11 Tier 1 pharmaceutical manufacturers, including nearby AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals LP, headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware.
The opening of the new facility is in conjunction with Archway’s expansion of its current healthcare and financial services business.The expansion provides supply chain solutions to pharmaceutical, medical device manufacturers and insurance providers including fulfillment, logistics, print procurement and compliance reporting.
Archway’s experience servicing the world’s leading healthcare companies allowed them to optimize the new space creating efficient product flow and productivity. The new facility utilizes state-of-the-art technology systems to capture and report required detailed information for serial and lot tracking compliance.
