Archway Helps Donate Two Semi-trucks of Product
Donation on behalf of client InComm aids the community and supports Hope for the City
ROGERS, MINN. (October 5, 2009)–
Archway, a leader in marketing operations management and fulfillment services, donated $175,000 worth of product on behalf of its client InComm to
Hope for the City, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, in support of its community outreach and green initiatives.
InComm, the leader in sales and marketing of prepaid products and innovator of transaction processing had an abundance of phone accessories and products. On behalf of InComm, Archway’s client services team sought a local partner that could benefit from the product.
“Archway took a pro-active approach to find a partner that had a need for these items,” explained Anthony DeVito, InComm’s director of Carrier Relations. “Not only did the local organization benefit, but we kept two truckloads of product from going to a landfill which is very environmentally friendly.”
Two full semi-trucks full of mobile accessories such as iPod covers, phone holders, pouches, belt clips, etc. were donated to Hope for the City. Hope for the City focuses on supplying and serving families and individuals in need with food, non-food items, health and beauty aids, personal care items, along with medical equipment and supplies. The $175,000 donation of phone accessories to Hope for the City benefited the Feed the Children program.
“Our organization depends on corporate donations of surplus items to accomplish our mission,” stated Cindy Anderson, Corporate Relations for Hope for the City. “We look forward to partnering with Archway in the future, as we work together to find ways to benefit the people we serve while helping Archway support their green initiatives.”
Archway is committed to reducing waste and is focused on recycling and reusing materials whenever possible to help protect the environment.
