Archway Honored with Goodwill Community Partnership Award

Archway recognized for providing outstanding community service and support to
Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit

ROGERS, MINN. (May 24, 2010) – Archway, a leader in marketing operations management and fulfillment services, was recognized with a Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit Community Partnership award at the 26th Annual Awards Luncheon held Tuesday, May 18, at the Hockeytown Café in Detroit.

The Goodwill awards program honors organizations for outstanding commitment to the fight against regional unemployment. For the past year, Archway has donated warehouse space to house overflow inventory from Goodwill’s clothing drive events, storing more than 200,000 pounds of donated clothing, blankets and shoes. Archway’s staff has also unloaded materials and provided inventory management and documentation to organize the effort.

“Archway has gone above and beyond in its commitment to Goodwill, showing the true spirit of a great community partner,” said Lorna G. Utley, president and CEO of Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit. “We are proud to honor Archway with our Community Partnership Award for its generosity and support aiding Goodwill’s efforts in Detroit.”

Accepting the award on behalf of Archway was Vice President General Manager, Hugh McBride and Director of Operations, Steve Weltzin.

“I was especially honored to accept this award signifying Archway’s commitment to community service,” said McBride. “We are dedicated to serving the community whenever possible, and are committed to work with Goodwill assisting in the inventory transfer process in the future.”
