Archway often builds “pre-packs” for fast-moving kits or builds kits on-demand. Our proprietary warehouse and inventory management system allows for additional flexibility. Features include substitution of out of stock items, release complete kits only, release partial kits, and backordering out of stock items.

Pick and Pack

Archway’s picking methodologies include our pick-to-light system, forward picking module, batch picking, wave picking, automated insertion, and kit assembly. Our system sorts, batches and generates pick lists. The orders are then picked, packed and quality inspected. Each order is scanned for shipping. This updates the quantity shipped, relieves inventory, updates order status, captures carton and packing material, assigns tracking numbers and generates the appropriate carrier-shipping label and customer-packing list. If the order is shipping international, the appropriate customs documents are prepared.
